Birth & Postpartum Doula • Breastfeeding Counselor • Birth Educator

Your birth story deserves to be beautiful

You shouldn't have to face labor feeling unsure, unheard, or alone. I'm here to make sure you walk into that room feeling powerful — and walk out with a story you're proud of.

Brittany Fugate, Birth Doula

Mom first.
Doula always.

I'm a mother of three, a Pre-K teacher, and a VBAC success story. I've been through unmedicated births, medicated births, a cesarean, and an induction. I know what it feels like when things don't go as planned — and I know what it takes to reclaim your experience.

I became a doula because I believe no one should walk into labor feeling afraid. Birth isn't something to survive. It's something to own.

I will talk to you like you're my friend, fight for you like you're my sister, and protect you like you're my daughter.

Why you want a doula in the room

01

Someone who's only there for you

Your doctor manages your medical care. Your partner manages their own nerves. Your doula? She's 100% focused on your comfort, your voice, and your experience.

02

Your partner needs backup too

Partners want to help but often don't know how. I guide them so they can be present and useful instead of anxious and sidelined.

03

You'll actually understand what's happening

When things move fast, medical jargon flies. I translate, explain options, and make sure you're making informed decisions — not pressured ones.

04

Better outcomes, full stop

Research consistently shows that doula-supported births have fewer interventions, shorter labors, and higher satisfaction. The data is clear.

What families are saying

★★★★★

She knew exactly when my wife needed firm encouragement, when she needed gentle reassurance, and when to just be a steady, grounding presence. I never once felt like a bystander at my own child's birth, and that's because of Britt.
